Good Neighbor Policy

The city of Big Bear Lake is a resort town but it also is home to full time residents. This has caused issues in the past so the City has created these rules and regulations that it makes all hosts and renters follow. These are universal to all Big Bear Lake rental cabins and we are required to show you these rules and for you to sign before checking in. They are easy to follow and shouldn’t be a cause for concern!

Cabin “Rules”

The cabin has been designed to be a short term rental and to function more like a hotel. We want you to feel comfortable and not like you have to walk on egg shells or be worried about anything during your stay.

We will do a video before each stay so there is no discrepancies as to the condition of the rental before your stay and what it’s like after as well as a creating an inventory of the belongings.

We are not charging any cleaning fees to keep the price down and there won’t be any additional cleaning charges unless there is something that would require more than regular cleaning like major stains or the jacuzzi having food in it or something like that. Again we want you to feel comfortable and relaxed so just be respectful and enjoy your stay!

  • To help keep the floors sanitary and the carpets clean we request that you remove your shoes and boots before or right after entering the cabin. We provide new slippers to wear and you can bring them home with you!

  • If possible please rinse off before going in the jacuzzi. This will help keep the water clean and not contaminated or discolored.

  • Either sign into your own account or use the “Guest” profiles for the various media apps. Please done delete or modify the other accounts. Also don’t purchase anything, if you want to let us know and we can help you with that and process any charges before you check out.

  • Please only use the provided fire place logs and not real wood. This keeps sparks and smells at a minimum and is safer. There is central heating so the fireplace is more for effect than function.

  • You can leave the sheets on the beds and towls in the hamper or bathtub.

  • You can leave the trash on the deck and we will take care of it or feel free to take it to the dump on your way home!

  • Various blankets and pillows are provided. Feel free to use them but throw the ones you do on the beds so we know which ones to clean for the next guests. All bedding and blankets are freshly washed for each new guests.

  • Feel free to use any cooking oils or spices or anything in the fridge.

  • You can use any lotions, sunscreens, or things like that. It gets dry and the sun is really intense. The first aid kit is under the bathroom sink in case of emergencies.
