Big Bear has a surprising amount of restaurants to choose from. This guide will help you choose.
This section will be updated with better linking and reviews soon!
711 is the only place that’s open 24/7 so make sure to stock up before everything else closes.
There are two main grocery stores, across the street from each other between Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City. Vons and Stater Brothers. The locals and people from Big Bear city tend to go to ‘Staters” and visitors usually go to Vons. If you live up here you’ll learn to get your shopping done by Thursday night, especially on holidays or when it snows. It doesn’t happen often but occasionally the shelves will get pretty sparse.
