Major Areas of Big Bear

  • Boulder Bay

First area if entering from Big Bear dam. While the area is small and private, it’s isolated from major landmarks, stores, markets, and downtown.

  • Big Bear Lake

The best location to own properties in Big Bear. It’s located in a vast area surrounding the southern side of the lake. It’s the closest to major landmarks, shops, and downtown.

  • Fawnskin

A bit more of a private area. Closer to campgrounds and trails. Surrounds the northern part of the lake. this is the least touristy area but also the farthest to major landmarks, shops, markets, and downtown. Hosts of our major off-roading areas.

  • Big Bear City

Located on the eastern side of Big Bear, Big Bear City is a mix of small businesses, rentals, and locals. Because of this, there’s extra traffic to get back to major landmarks, stores, and markets. Also hosts Big Bear Airport. Unfortunately does not have access to the lake.
